Each year we proudly host several exciting events that allow us to gather as a community, support those living with HIV, and encourage and assist the medically fragile through our health care, housing and social services outreach. We, of course, have lots of exciting opportunities to celebrate, work together on mission, and love the communities we serve… however, our three biggest and most robust events are listed below.

Description
Dining Out For Life® involves the generous participation of volunteers, sponsors and restaurants. It’s simple:
Restaurants donate a percent of their sales.

Home for the Holidays
Description
Stable Housing Saves Lives.
Your donation provides emergency housing support, including rent and utility assistance, food, clothing, and hygiene packages.
On average, 87% of those served by AVOL stay consistent with their medical care, which leads to reduced or ‘undetectable’ HIV levels in the body. At these levels, people feel better and cannot pass the virus to others. Housing is Healthcare!

HeartStrings: Affordable Housing, Healthy Living
Description
HeartStrings is AVOL Kentucky’s mid-winter breakfast event highlighting the vital connection between housing and good health.
AVOL Kentucky is focused on raising awareness and funding to create new and innovative housing opportunities for individuals facing medical vulnerability, including those affected by HIV/AIDS. Proceeds from HeartStrings will be directed to the Timothea Branham Memorial Housing Development and Assistance Fund.

Kentucky Aids Walk
Description
The Kentucky AIDS Walk is an annual fundraiser presented by AVOL Kentucky to raise additional HIV/AIDS awareness, develop long-term solutions, and implement measures with the goal of one day eradicating the disease once and for all. Join AVOL Kentucky for their Annual AIDS Walk by signing up as an individual, starting a team, or making an online donation. Since the very beginning, our community has come together to walk together until it’s over.
